When we launched this blog, we were both pretty nervous about what the response would be. Thankfully, we have been bowled over by how positive all you lovely people have been, and the reaction we’ve had! To celebrate reaching 1000 followers in just 3 weeks (thank you all SO much for following!), we’ve decided to run a little competition!
The prize is a beauty box with some of our favourites worth €84, including tan, nail polish, lipsticks and face products from brands like Rimmel, Revlon, Catrice and Wet‘n’Wild. It’s a miracle some of these beauties haven’t found their way into our makeup bags rather than the box…but it’s all there, waiting to be won by one of you lovely followers!
The competition will run for a week (ending Wednesday 5th August at 11.59pm) and we’ll announce a winner, picked at random then! All you have to do to enter is:
Make sure you like The Dupe Diaries Facebook page
Share our Facebook post about the competition

It’s SO simple, and the goodies genuinely are bits and pieces that we swear by, a lot of which we’ve mentioned before in other posts. A little bit more about what the prize contains below…
Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan Mousse (€10.49, Boots)
Who doesn’t need a little help in the glow department?! I love being a nice bronze colour, so I have tried pretty much EVERY tan out there. I got this when it launched, and it’s been a firm favourite ever since. It smells lovely, goes on evenly, doesn’t dry the skin, develops in an hour and lasts up to a week before fading without the dreaded scaly patchiness…seriously, what more could you ask for?!
Forever Aloe BB Crème in Nude (€39.06, Forever Living)
I’ve mentioned this before, and it’s a staple in my makeup bag for quite a while. I first got it to try as a Forever distributor and I now adore this for day-to-day wear because it’s natural and light, but gives much better coverage than any other BB cream! It sounds a tad expensive, but a tube of it lasts me around 5 months using it every day, so it’s pretty good value. I’ve yet to find someone who has tried this and disliked it!
Seventeen Doll’d Up Mascara in Blackest Black (€8.79, Boots)
I have to admit I am as fickle as they come with mascara…always on a quest to find something new to make my lashes longer and fuller minus the clumping! I got this a few months ago, and adore it – it gives a great curl, separation, loads of volume, is an intense black colour and lasts all day without flaking…sold!
Wet‘n’Wild ColourIcon Lipliner in Willow (€1.99, Penney’s and selected pharmacies)
We featured this about 2 weeks ago as a fantastic dupe for MAC. It lasts ages (seriously, look at the length of that pencil?!), goes on really smoothly and is a great universal shade, so it’s a perfect basic lipliner for absolutely anyone!
Catrice Camouflage Cream (€3.49, Penney’s and selected pharmacies)
This is one of my top makeup products. It’s a heavy duty concealer, to cover any blemishes or discoloration in an instant. Better than any high end concealer I’ve tried!
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer in Extra Fair (€5.99, Boots)
This is a fantastic concealer for under the eye, which we both absolutely love. It’ll banish those bags and leave you looking bright eyed! It’s also a great dupe for MAC’s Pro Longwear concealer.
Revlon Nail Enamel in Ravishing (€8.99, Boots)
We’re both gel addicts but in between manis, this nail varnish is great. It has a stronger formula than most regular nail polishes so lasts that bit longer. How great is this colour for summer too!?
Wet’n’Wild lipsticks (€2.99, Penneys and selected pharmacies)
These are another favourite product of The Dupe Diaries. Between us we probably have the entire collection. They have a lovely creamy formula and have the staying power of high end lipsticks. We’ve included two of our must have colours which are amazing dupes for MAC’s Candy Yum Yum and Velvet Teddy.
Seventeen Lip Crayon in Playful (€6.99, Boots)
These lip crayons are great for everyday use. I love them during the week, for work. I find lipstick can dry out my lips a little in the office. This Seventeen crayon provides lovely subtle colour and is really nourishing at the same time.
